On Break!!!

I am going home tomorrow! Time to mix! Yay!
I've been in Sheperdstown, WV since Sunday night recording Lizz King. We have about four songs recorded without overdubbs. We did the takes live, with Lizz singing as well as playing either the banjo or a resonator guitar. We recorded in her friend's house which is probably two hundred years old. There recordings definately sound nice and livingroomy. The space was kinda small, but it worked really well. We also got up at five o'clock yesterday morning to record out in the woods behind the house when the birds were singing and there weren't too many cars passing by! I guess you could say we were trying to get a kinda "back woods" feel to the song! hahahahaha.... hahahaha!!!!

hahaha!
So the next stop is Baltimore, MD to record the drums for a collaboration between Jimmy Joe Roche and Dan Deacon.

Here's a video of ULTIMATE REALITY being presented live:
There's a clip of the actual video here
And you can BUY JIMMY'S DVD's HERE!!

There are two drummers, Kevin O'Meara (Video Hippos, Butt Stomach) and Jeremy Hyman (Ponytail). I'm pretty psyced about this project!
It'll be happening the week of the 23rd, right after the Whartscape music festival in Baltimore, which is right before I go to court on the 23rd for not having my registration, even though I showed it to the police officer! Ugh!

After that is Lions & Tigers in Brooklyn, and Hologram (also from Brooklyn, but being recorded in Purchase, NY.)

Who know's what's next after that?
Do you??? I need some help booking in September, so if you can think of anyone who'd like to work with me, send them my link, or email me at cgwazda@gmail.com!!
Awesome! Check the post below. I posted twice tonight!

dudecycle, that ticket thing is garbage. The word(s) "power trip" come to mind.

Police like that fatally wounded my living hamster, and despite all your efforts, I'm sorry, but the poor creature succumbed to death by the long arm of the law. True story, honest
