Leaving Athens

Cara playing guitar kitty cat
Cara and I recorded four songs total:

Gift Horse
Good Ones
Fisherman's Family
Easy

The setup Cara recording

I think I'll post "Good Ones" in the player. It isn't quite done yet, but it's almost there. Needs bass (we didn't have a bass in Athens) and some mix revision. "Fisherman's Family" also needs some cleaning up, so you won't hear that one for a while!
Cara played drums on "Easy". Guess who's drumming on "Good Ones"? Me! I am! I also played drums for Cara's show on Saturday. It was so much fun. I was really nervous that everyone was like, "that dude has no idea what he's doing". I think it probably sounded ok, though.
The show on Saturday was at a place in Athens called Nuçi's Space which is a non-profit health and music center. They help provide musicians in town with doctors, counselors, and lawyers. It's also a venue and a coffeshop. I don't know. Seems like a cool idea.

So I think "Gift Horse" is the winner for this collection of songs. Cara likes "Good Ones". Anyone have a preference between these two?

Also, I'm psyced that I got some pics from my camera!
I put up some photos up. From the top: Cara performing on Saturday night at Nuçi's Space; trying to get the kitty, Wilma, to meew; the setup in the kitchen; Cara tracking guitar; another pic of Cara performing live; goofing off!

I guess there are techno problems with the player or something. I really like "gift horse" so it's going to be hard to surpass, but I'll check back soon. I like learning people's opinions though.

The set-up in the kitchen looks awesome. I guess your real-life music autobot works. Very trendy indeeeed.

I wanna see more pictures! You look gooofy! I thought you were cool! Oh no - you are a big goofball! And so is Cara, but not as much as you.
