First thing I did when I arrived is go to a house show and saw a noise guy called Cars Will Burn who has this insanely bright loud contraption that blasts light in sync to the music (the noise music!)

The guy in the foreground is holding his ears. It was pretty loud, but honestly, for a noise show, the volume was pretty low!
It was great to see the Future Islands guys again. I'm really excited to record this week...
The objective is to finish NINE SONGS in four days! That's a fucking rock-block (non-stop rock block?)
We're starting first thing tomorrow morning in their practice space above The Backdoor Skate Shop.
